I'm kind of liking a sweet nightcap lately:
Beloved by drink enthusiasts and bakers for it's amazingly pure and pungent ginger flavor, Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur captures the very essence of Vietnamese baby ginger and is married with fine eau de vie, VSOP and XO Grande Champagne Cognac. To this is added fresh Tahitian vanilla bean, Provencal honey, and Tunisian gingseng. Preservative and colorant free, Domaine de Canton is made in small batches by hand.
Domaine de Canton is made in Jarnac, France in the tradition of Colonial Indochine in which ginger infused elixirs were blended with fine Cognac. Fresh baby ginger is cut by hand, twice infused with Grand Champagne VSOP Cognac, and then blended with vanilla and orange blossom honey from Provence. Its taste is fresh, intense, with interesting notes of orange and cognac and rich, yet clean finishing sweetness. Canton can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, or in a number of fine cocktails.
"Ginger, as a cocktail ingredient, is on a serious roll right now… but the Domaine de Canton, which fuses baby ginger with cognac, feels more like a classic than something parachuted into a trend. 'It's got that ginger heat… but it's not too strong and it's very aromatic.' It's also a lively addition to Champagne." NY Times
"It's a rare liqueur that can find its way into cocktails and yet hold back sweetness enough to be sipped on its own, chilled or on the rocks. Canton Ginger Liqueur, a pale gold blend of French Cognac and ginger essence made from Vietnamese baby ginger, delivers spicy heat up front to make its presence known in a martini-style drink or when splashed over sliced peaches or pineapple."
