Every time I screen cap these pictures of Pam in her pretty dresses, I find myself shaking my head and saying "Oh, Pammy, Pammy, Pammy. Ugh. If only you knew what's coming." She's totally the tragic hero here. It's just heartbreaking to see how sweet she is, how loyal, how forgiving--and to know what's in store. I just want to say RUN PAMMY RUN! Look at her sweeeeeeet face! And just know what shit storm is coming! I can't STAND IT.
So in episode 7: AKA Top Shelf Perverts, Pam gets to wear a very nice coat as well as what looks like perhaps a solid navy wrap dress? The collar and what can be seen of the V are definitely blue. So I'm going to take a guess say this is a solid DVF--maybe similar to the "Jeanne Two Matte Jersey" dress?
The coat is very cool with lots of silver zipper details on the lapels and cuffs. Color is like a denim-grayish-teal with a linen texture? Neat coat. Wouldn't mind having one. No idea what it is. No real desire to try and track it down. Clothes are so hard to find--but if anyone out there can ID it, please send me a note and I'll credit you.
The only other outfit we see Pam in this episode is a recycled dress from waaaay back in episode 1. And I'm so delighted that the costume director (is that a thing? I don't know clothes, hence the hilarity that I'm even attempting this) is allowing her character to re-wear items just like a normal person would. I mean, clearly Pam has hit the DVF bandwagon hard, but it's nice to know that she has favorites. I'm not gonna lie, the diamond pattern Tallulah dress looks outstanding on Pam.
For the win!
And that, my friends, is all we see Pam in, in episode 7: Top Shelf Perverts.
In episode 6: AKA You're a Winner--Pam has two outfits, a sleeveless top and then later, another DVF wrap dress. The sleeveless top is only just glimpsed in the snuggly car ride that she shares with Jeri. I'm thinking it may very well be DVF, but there's not much to see:
My best guesses here are either a sleeveless tank or dress. And I can't find anything at all definitive--there's just not enough picture for details. So, based off of what I think is mostly black or dark grey dress background, plus abstract splashes of reds and pinks I've found these two MAYBE close tos, but neither make me totally happy. I think the tank is closer--but neither of these pics have what I think I'm seeing--which is more red elements? But who knows. Maybe someone out there knows? You can drop me a line.
Later in episode 6, Pam sports a DVF Julian Two wrap dress that I've sometimes read referred to as "floral shadow." It's a nice bright orange dress with what look like stylized white leaves with a trace of shadowy outline around each one.
Pam has a really cool dress in episode of Jessica Jones (AKA 99 Friends), but it's yet another shitty day for Pam. First Jessica burst into Jeri's office again, upsetting a delicate legal negotiation--and then she insult's our girl Pam by saying she "couldn't hear her" over her print. Rude, Jessica. Pam's pissed.
Near the middle/end of the ep, we see the dress again. I love it:
A limited Pop Edition, Floral Pop:
In between appearances of the Floral Pop dress, we're treated to Snow Bunny Pam:
In episode 2, AKA Crush Syndrome, Pam's only in one scene--the beginning of the end. She interrupts a meeting between Jeri and Jessica to inform Jeri that she has to call her wife...because she knows. Geez. Poor Pam.
The dress has a pretty white and green polka dot pattern. It's the Jilda by DVF:
And that's it in episode 2 AKA Crush Syndrome for Pam and her amazing wrap dresses.
I don't usually try to ID clothes, because I'm not well versed in that area. But even I can tell a Diane von Furstenberg dress when I see one, or in this case, like a dozen.
God bless you Pam. Here are all your DVF dresses in episode one:
AKA Ladies Night:
When we first see Pammy, she's at the reception desk, showing an impressive amount of clev. Get it, Pam. The dress is a Tallulah diamond wrap pattern, with red cuffs and hem. Very pretty.
When next we see Pam, she's romancing Jeri Hogarth, her boss--and clearly the two ladies have an established, intimate relationship.
Pam's dress has a dark background, with a very pretty floral pattern all over--and a square/geometric pattern around the v-neck. The dress is the Tallulah floral pattern with geometric trim:
Pam's last DVF dress in episode 1 is a black and pink geometric print. It's also the dress that we, the viewers, see Pam realize that Jeri's not quite as free as she may have lead Pam to believe. Pam witnesses Jeri kissing her wife and it seems pretty clear to me that Jeri has yet to break the news that she wants a divorce. Pam realizes this as well, quickly going from a delighted smile, to a shocked stare, then awkward exit. Ouch, Pam. But so much worse is yet to come for you.
The dress is clearly the Zoe, pink geometric pattern, but I can't find a version online anywhere with the v-neck that Pam's sporting. Makes me wonder if the dress was altered for Susie's character? Most of Pam's dresses have a plunging neckline--and I'm thinking the costumer gave this one a similar treatment? Super cute dress either way. Up close the pattern's really lovely.
